Sales Boost for Small Craft Companies

The Fingal's Finest Trade Mission to the New Jersey ‘Ireland Show’ this year was a great success with US$329,500 Projected Sales.­ Eight small craft companies from Fingal have secured direct export orders of over $66,500 with $329, 500 in combined export orders projected for the year ahead.

Fingal Student Winners Announced

Fingal’s youngest entrepreneurs were celebrating at the eleventh annual Fingal Student Enterprise Awards at the Crowne Plaza in Blanchardstown on Friday, March 16th. In all, fifty three student enterprises from eighteen secondary schools and eight primary schools took centre stage at the annual County Final, which is organised every year by the Fingal County Enterprise Board. Over 2,000 local students have been researching and running their own businesses in the Student Enterprise Programme since last September, all competing for a share of the €10,000 prize fund.

Senior Entrepreneur: Start Your Own Business

The County Enterprise Boards and Senior Enterprise are supporting a 2 Day National Residential Workshop Senior Entrepreneurs who wish to start their own business. The aim of this workshop is to give entrepreneurs aged 50+ the opportunity to develop a business plan to guide the establishment of their new business, as we believe that there is considerable untapped potential among this group. It is suitable for those with an idea, on which they would like to base a new business, who would like assistance in taking their idea from concept to commercial reality.
