“Fingal’s Finest” Craftworkers to exhibit at Flavours of Fingal Festival­­­

Fingal County Enterprise Board is pleased to announce that it has now selected eight craft businesses to take part in the Flavours of Fingal Festival, in Newbridge House, Donabate on 21st and 22nd July. ­­

Fingal's Finest will have their own marquee where the eight exhibitors will have stands.There will also be a specially assigned area inside where the public and children can get involved in craft making, with different events taking place throughout the two days.

Come and create your own unique gift get to name and paint your very own gingerbread man, "so run, run as fast as you can to the Fingals Finest stand and catch your very own ginger bread man". We will also have for the very first time a collection of garden decor which will put a little colour and maybe a bit of luck in your garden, come to our stand and get to be an artist, a gardener, a child for the day.

 

Exclusively Irish

­

Exclusively Irish is run by talented artist Teresa Gaffney who specialises in Hand-made cards and Block Mounted Prints. Her exclusively Ireland Collection is a collage of exclusive handmade cards and prints of Celtic Inspirations. Look out for Teresa’s new collection of cards depicting the months of the year.

 

Fab Cow Design

Fab Cow Design is a Malahide based start up specializing in illustrations for all occasions. Fresh, unique and quirky, our illustrations can be personalized for a truly unique gift. All pieces are signed by Irish artist Francis Leavey.

Irish Linen House

The Irish linen house is the brainchild of designer Greg Whelan, who has given Irish linen a new and exciting dimension. His designs are inspired by characters and myths in Irish folklore and his love for Celtic art. Greg has used his design talent to create tablepieces that combine a traditional yet contemporary style.

Pauline Hiney of Giftcentre designs a full range of clocks featuring Irish county colours and county crests.  They specialise in unique glass fused handcrafted county shaped clocks for each of the 32 Counties of Ireland including the Ireland clock. They have recently launched a Contemporary range of clocks and handpainted glassware. Pauline also produces Personalised Children's Clocks and Embroidered gifts to include names, dates and special messages for all occasions.

Maura O'Rourke

Maura O’Rourke is a classical landscape artist whose paintings are unique and original. She captures the essence of the Irish landscape in rich and vivid hues. The local seascape and landscape have been the inspiration and source material for many of Maura’s paintings. Her work shows a deep insight and understanding of endless skylines, beautiful remoteness and exquisite coastline that embodies the island of Ireland. Her less figurative work is often inspired by the history and mythology of Celtic Ireland. Her pieces are suitable as gifts for any occasion and the boxed presentation pieces are collectors’ items.

Perriwinkle Design

Perriwinkle Design, which is run by designer Gaye Woulahan, make hand-crafted costume jewellery using semi-precious stones, crystals, pearls and all kinds of beads in all colours. They can create original designs make to order - to match outfits for special occasions, bridal pieces etc. They offer a large collection of hand crafted necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, rings and bag charms.

­Sue Bamford's original artwork, and her limited edition giclée prints (available framed and unframed) will be on show at the Fingal's Finest exhibition. Her distinctive greetings cards, printed from her artwork, are also available for purchase. Much of her inspiration comes from local scenes, particularly the coastline of Fingal.
