• Different business models and running the numbers
• Be introduced to the characteristics and traits of the entrepreneur and have a chance to look at your own strengths and weaknesses 
• Be aware of the personal commitment required in running your own business
• Get direction on where to go with the business idea – what steps to take
• Know how to assess the viability of your own business idea (if you have one) 
• Gain an understanding of the requirements for a business plan
• Be introduced to new business ideas and gain the motivation to create, create and create!!
