Enterprise Ireland has developed a process to assist you in a systematic way with your export development needs. The aim of the First Flight Programme is to save you time and expense, and to help you manage the risk associated with entering new markets.
Process
This evaluation process is carried out by you and your assigned Mentor, in order to develop an action plan addressing your company's individual needs.
There are 6 areas of evaluation to help you assess your export readiness:
- Your company now
- Your company's performance
- Management resources/expectations
- Export market knowledge
- The business case
- Funding/budget
Information Workshops
Enterprise Ireland is running a series of workshops which will provide an introduction to the First Flight Process and advice on planning your market entry strategy abroad. There is no charge for attending these workshops, but advance booking is essential.
